Join us for Heritage Open Days 2024!
Uncover the story of the Abana bell and its journey from Canada to Cleveleys.
Almost 130 years after the Abana, a sailing barque, was shipwrecked off the Fylde coast. There will be a short talk, repeated on the hour with plenty of time to explore our beautiful Edwardian church building.
Children’s activities will be available including making a clay bell to take away and colouring sheets and word searches to enjoy. If there are two children or more in a group, there will be a fun rescue activity to take part in. A chance to ring the Abana bell!
