Wartime Typography Workshop
Join artist Lisa Wigham to discover the town's unique signage and typography. Go on a walking tour and see part-hidden examples of heritage lettering and hear stories Blackpool’s wartime histories. Then have a go yourself in creating your own sign on reclaimed wood to take away for your home or garden.
This event is suitable for curious beginners or experienced makers.
ABOUT LISA WIGHAM:
Lisa is a traditional Sign Painter based in Blackpool. She applies her love of this now ‘Endangered Craft’ to projects for people’s homes, businesses and as public art.
Spaces for this event are limited. Booking is essential.
The event will involve a 60 minute walking tour with some standing.
Lunch is included.
