Adults aged 16-64 - £15.00
Children aged 4-15 - £11.50
Children aged 3 and under - FREE
Students/Adults age 65+ - £13.50

With Gift Aid, every £1 you spend on a ticket magically turns into £1.25 for us, without you paying extra.
General Admission tickets eligible for gift aid are valid for 12 months from the day you visit Showtown, so pop back and see us as often as you can for great value family fun, all year round!

Blackpool resident? If you are a Blackpool resident & you pay Blackpool council tax then you can visit the museum for free* but make sure you book in advance to guarantee your place.

Showtown History Centre
Did you know that as part of The Blackpool Heritage and Museum Trust, Showtown also looks after the History Centre; a living archive through which everyone can discover the untold stories of the town and its people.
If you are curious to find out more about Blackpool then you can explore documents and archives. From family history to the big historic events that started right here.

In the meantime, we continue to provide access to the historic newspaper microfilms with appointments available between Tuesday and Saturday. We can also support a small number of specific newspaper related enquiries each week.

Our microfilm readers are in operation on the ground floor of Central Library. Use of the microfilm readers is by appointment only.
If you would like to book an appointment to view our historic newspaper collection microfilms or have a specific request for a newspaper research enquiry then please contact us on historycentre@showtownblackpool.co.uk or call 01253 478090.
Appointments run Tuesday to Saturday, with a morning slot at 10.30am and an afternoon slot at 1.30pm. Appointments last for 2 hours.
